Munich, 05.09.2023 Smartlane GmbH and Dr. Mathias Baur announce that Mathias Baur is resigning from his position as Managing Director of the company and ending his operational activities. Almost exactly eight years ago, he had founded Smartlane together with Monja Mühling and Florian Schimandl and built it up as a successful IT company and provider of cloud-based scheduling software. The resignation from the management and operational activities took place with effect from August 31, 2023 and is based on Mathias Baur’s own decision for personal reasons. Mathias Baur will remain with the company as a shareholder and will continue to work for the well-being and growth of Smartlane. The handover of his previous responsibilities to the team was successfully implemented, ensuring a smooth transition for all involved. Co-founder Florian Schimandl has taken over Mathias Baur’s executive duties with immediate effect and is thus responsible for the areas of Customer Solutions, Product and Development in his role as Chief Solutions Officer (CSO). “This will ensure seamless operation and continuous further development of the Smartlane solution in the usual high quality for all Smartlane customers in the future,” says Monja Mühling, CEO of Smartlane.
